What happens if my website goes down?

Monitoring alerts us rather than you, and work starts immediately. Depending on the cause it is a restart, a rollback or a restore from backup, which is why backups are tested rather than assumed.

Do you host the website as well?

We can manage hosting on your behalf or work with your existing host. Either way the hosting account is registered in your name.

What if you did not build my website?

Accepted Answer

Most web management work is on sites built by somebody else, including ones where the original developer has disappeared. The health check is designed for exactly that situation.

Question 4

How much does web management cost in Cameroon?

It is quoted after the health check, because a five-page site and a store with a thousand products are not the same job. The monthly fee and its scope are provided in writing.

Can I maintain the website myself?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you have someone with an hour or two a month we will train them, with a site-specific runbook, checklists and 60 days of support. The test is whether a specific person owns the task.

Do you fix hacked or infected websites?

Accepted Answer

Yes: clean-up, removal from Google blacklists, closing the entry point and hardening against recurrence. An already-infected site is quoted as a recovery job before any monthly plan begins.

What is included in the monthly fee?

Accepted Answer

Maintenance, monitoring, security, backups and an agreed allowance of small content edits. New pages, redesigns, new features and recovery work are quoted separately.

Question 8

What happens if I stop the service?

Accepted Answer

You keep everything, because it was always yours: domain, hosting, backups, logins and the site, all registered in your name. The runbook and checklists are handed over too.
