1. Definitions
In these Terms:
- “We”, “us” or “Lami Godlove Digital” means the business operating at Lami Godlove Digital (Limbe, Cameroon) and its affiliates.
- “You” or “User” means any individual or entity accessing or using the Website, Academy, or our services.
- “Services” means any products, training courses, workshops, consulting, web design/development, digital marketing services (e.g., SEO, Facebook & Google Ads, email marketing), internships, access to the Academy, and any online tools or resources we provide.
- “Content” means text, images, video, downloads, software, course materials, training modules, and other content made available by Lami Godlove Digital.
2. Acceptance and Eligibility
2.1. You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age in your jurisdiction to form a binding contract) to accept these Terms and to use the Services. If you are under 18, you may only access the Services under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
2.2. By creating an account, purchasing a course or service, or otherwise using the Services, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
3. Scope of Services
3.1. Lami Godlove Digital provides services including but not limited to: website design and development, search engine optimization (SEO), social media advertising (Facebook/Meta Ads), Google Ads, email marketing, digital marketing consulting, online and in-person training, internships, and other digital products.
3.2. Specific service features, deliverables, timelines and fees are set out in separate proposals, invoices, course descriptions, or order/registration pages. Where a service is governed by a separate written agreement (e.g., client service contract), that agreement takes precedence over these Terms for the specified service.
4. Account Registration & Security
4.1. To access some Services you may be required to register for an account and provide accurate, current and complete information. You agree to keep your account information up to date.
4.2. You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4.3. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account for any reason, including suspected misuse or breach of these Terms.
5. Orders, Subscriptions, Payments & Fees
5.1. All fees for Services are set out on the relevant product or registration page, quote, or invoice. Fees are quoted in the currency shown on the order page or invoice.
5.2. Subscriptions and recurring services automatically renew at the then-current renewal price unless you cancel before renewal. You authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for the fees and taxes payable.
5.3. Advance payments and deposits: For bespoke client services (e.g., web builds), we may require an advance deposit. Work commences after receipt of the agreed advance as stated in the project proposal or invoice.
5.4. Refund policy:
- For live, instructor-led training: refunds/credits are handled per the course registration terms stated at the point of sale.
- For on-demand courses and digital products: we may offer refunds within a limited period (e.g., 5 days) if you have not accessed course materials; otherwise no refund is provided.
- For bespoke client work: unless otherwise agreed in writing, payments become non-refundable after 50% of the project is completed or after the commencement of work (whichever occurs first).
(You may change this policy — the above is a recommended starting point based on common practice and earlier conversation; please edit to match your actual business policy.)
5.5. Late payment: unpaid invoices may incur late fees and interest as permitted by law. We may suspend services for overdue accounts until payment is received.
5.6. Taxes: you are responsible for any taxes, duties or levies that may be payable in connection with your purchase.
6. Course Access, Materials & Use
6.1. Enrollment in Academy courses grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access course content for personal, non-commercial use in connection with your learning.
6.2. Course materials (videos, slides, exercises, templates) are the intellectual property of Lami Godlove Digital or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, publicly display, or otherwise exploit course materials except as expressly permitted.
6.3. You may not record, screenshot or redistribute course content unless we give explicit written permission.
6.4. Certificates: if your course offers a certificate of completion, issuance is conditional on meeting course requirements (attendance, assignments, payment). Certificates are not professional licenses and should not be represented as such.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1. All intellectual property rights (copyrights, trademarks, logos, software, database rights, course content) on the Website and Academy belong to Lami Godlove Digital or its licensors.
7.2. Except for the limited license to use Services described above, no rights are granted to you. You may not remove or alter any proprietary notices.
7.3. If you upload content (assignments, portfolio pieces, testimonials), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce and display such materials in connection with delivering the Services, promoting our business, and for educational or portfolio purposes — unless you expressly request otherwise in writing.
8. User Conduct & Acceptable Use
8.1. You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation.
8.2. Prohibited conduct includes (but is not limited to):
- Posting or uploading content that infringes third-party rights, is defamatory, abusive, obscene or unlawful;
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems or to another user’s account;
- Interfering with the security, integrity, or operation of the Services;
- Automating use of the Services (scraping, crawling, automated requests) unless a written API agreement permits it;
- Using materials obtained through our Services to create competing products or services.
8.3. Violations may result in suspension, termination, and/or legal action.
9. User Content & Reviews
9.1. You are solely responsible for the content you submit, upload or publish while using the Services.
9.2. By submitting testimonials or reviews you grant Lami Godlove Digital permission to publish and repurpose such content for marketing purposes. If you would like to opt-out, notify us in writing.
9.3. We do not claim ownership of User Content except for the license described in section 7.3; however we may remove content that violates these Terms.
10. Third-Party Services & Links
10.1. Our Services may contain links to third-party websites, tools or resources. We do not endorse or control those third parties and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices or availability.
10.2. Integration with third-party platforms (e.g., payment processors, webinar tools) is subject to separate terms and privacy practices. Use of third-party services is at your own risk.
11. Warranties, Disclaimers & No Guarantee of Results
11.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” We disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
11.2. Course or training outcomes: while we provide training, coaching and recommended strategies, we make no guarantee as to income, business results, job placement or specific outcomes. Results depend on your efforts and other external factors.
11.3. We attempt to keep content accurate and up to date, but we make no warranty regarding completeness, accuracy or suitability.
12. Limitation of Liability
12.1. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lami Godlove Digital, its officers, employees, agents and affiliates will not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages;
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill;
- Any loss or damage arising from your use or inability to use the Services.
12.2. Our aggregate liability for direct damages arising out of or related to these Terms will not exceed the total amount you actually paid to Lami Godlove Digital for the specific product or service in question during the 12 months immediately preceding the claim, or 499XAF if you have not paid us.
12.3. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; to the extent such limitations are not enforceable, they shall be applied to the maximum extent permitted by law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Lami Godlove Digital and its affiliates, officers and employees from any claim, loss, liability, damage, demand, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your breach of these Terms;
- Your use of the Services;
- Your violation of any third-party right; or
- Your violation of applicable law.
We will notify you of any claim and may participate in the defense. You may not settle a claim without our prior written consent if the settlement imposes any obligation on us.
14. Termination & Suspension
14.1. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you breach these Terms, for non-payment, or for reasons of operational, legal or security concern.
14.2. You may cancel paid subscriptions via your account settings or by contacting support as described under Contact Information. Cancellation does not relieve you of payment obligations already incurred.
14.3. On termination we may delete your account and content in accordance with our data retention policies, and we will not be liable for any loss of data resulting from termination where the cause is your breach or inactivity.
15. Modifications to Services & These Terms
15.1. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue Services (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice.
15.2. We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will provide reasonable notice (e.g., via email or a notice on the Website). Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Refunds, Disputes & Chargebacks
16.1. Refund requests should be submitted to info@lamigodlovedigital.com with order details. We will review requests in accordance with our refund policy (see section 5.4).
16.2. If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer before contacting us for resolution, we may suspend or terminate Services until the dispute is resolved. Excessive chargebacks will be cause for account termination.
17. Privacy & Data Protection
17.1. Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, available at: https://www.lamigodlovedigital.com/privacy (or specify your actual privacy policy URL). By using the Services you agree to our Privacy Policy.
17.2. We process personal data as data controller for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy. For Academy students, we may collect educational records, attendance and assessment results; we use this data to deliver courses and to issue certificates where applicable.
17.3. International transfers: if you are outside Cameroon and we transfer data across borders (e.g., to cloud service providers), we will do so in accordance with applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
18. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to provide our Services and analyze usage. Details are in our Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy. You can manage certain cookie preferences through your browser or our cookie consent banner.

19.2. We will respond to valid notices as required by applicable law. For repeat infringers, we may terminate accounts.
20. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
20.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cameroon without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
20.2. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved informally between the parties. If unresolved, the dispute shall be submitted to mediation in Douala or Limbe, Cameroon. If mediation fails, the dispute shall be finally resolved by arbitration in Limbe (or other agreed location) under the rules of a recognized arbitration body in Cameroon. You may seek injunctive relief in local courts if necessary.
21. Force Majeure
Neither party will be liable for failure or delay in performing obligations due to causes beyond its reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, war, pandemics, governmental actions, outages of internet or cloud providers). The affected party must notify the other promptly.
